Disability Pride NYC Programs 2026
Join us to celebrate ADA 36!
Disability Pride, Disability Joy, Exists™: July 2026 Community Art-Making Programs
Celebrate Disability Pride Month with us through joyful, intergenerational art-making programs across New York City.
Led by disabled artist Annie Nishwani Lachhman and disability inclusion educator Lakshmee Lachhman-Persad, the workshops invite disabled people, families, friends, and allies to explore disability pride, identity, belonging, and joy through creativity.
This year, a shared canvas-style version of Annie’s Disability Pride Flag will travel between program locations. Participants will be invited to add color, words, reflections, symbols, and marks of their own, creating one collective artwork shaped by voices from across the city.
