Our disability inclusion work is built on 20 years of marketing experience within a wide range of the travel and tourism ecosystem. As consultants, we can help your organization adopt best practices for accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities.
If you’ve read Our Story, you know how the lack of disability representation, accessible information and any form of disability inclusion in marketing led to our creation of this website. After four dedicated years of exploring so much of New York City as a family with both visible and non-apparent disabilities, experiencing life virtually with our Arts & Cultural institutions during the pandemic, continued advocacy with major change making organizations in New York City and some excellent partnerships with legacy institutions, we want to share what we know with you.
We're Webby Award Winners by the People’s Voice Social Impact - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, a leading Women in NYC Tourism, recipient of the Public Accommodation Awards from Mayor Eric Adams and PCMA Foundation Visionary Awards for Community Service.
Lakshmee serves on the Board of Directors of New York City Tourism + Conventions and is Co-Chair of their DEIA Committee; she is a member of the Advisory Committee for Transit Accessibility (ACTA) at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA); and she is the leader on DEIA on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and an Accessibility Advisory Committee Member for Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Storm King and Asian American Arts Alliance.

Education & Training Services Offerings
- Elements of Service Education & Training. This program is designed to train guest facing employees in best practices for welcoming and serving guests with disabilities. It is offered by the Slatin Group with Lakshmee as a co-trainer.
- The DMO Accessibility Blueprint Education and Training program was co-created with the Slatin Group. It embeds the principles of accessibility and disability inclusion within corporate culture, operations and programming, and to share this knowledge with stakeholders and other partners.
